Episode 4 of LM2Talks is finally here and I’m ready to talk music… or rather, the way that people talk about music. Conversations around J. Cole’s latest album, KOD, really rubbed me the wrong way and I want to break down some of my issues I see with the level of snobbery and elitism we cling to when expressing love (or hatred) for pieces of media.
It’s a bit of a rant, but I’m hoping we can start a better dialogue when expressing how we feel about different pieces of entertainment and art.
