I am a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where I received my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, concentrating in Graphic Design and Printmaking. I also hold a Master’s in Communication and Information Studies from the School of Communication & Information at Rutgers.
I spent several years working as the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications for the Division of Student Affairs at Rutgers where I helped lead a team of incredibly talented student graphic designers, photographers, videographers, journalists, and social content specialists in telling the story of our division and stories of our student body.
Following my time with Student Affairs, I took on the role of Assistant Director of Social Media Strategy in the office of University Communications and Marketing at Rutgers University. In this role, I re-envisioned and led Rutgers University’s social media and multimedia efforts, with an emphasis on humanizing content focused on celebrating the faculty, staff, students and alumni of the University.
One key highlight of this role was executive producing the two season award-winning video series Faces & Voices of Rutgers, featuring President Jonathan Holloway in conversation with various members of the Rutgers community.
Recently, I made a difficult decision to leave Rutgers for a newly created role at the University of Delaware. Serving as the Senior Director of Digital Communications in the Office of Communications and Marketing, I am now responsible for leading UD’s digital communications suite, including but not limited to the university’s external web presence, social media, app and digital marketing.
